From heirloom tomatoes and hot peppers to basil, oregano, and chamomile, the site gives gardeners everything they need to start a productive plot — with collection navigation by plant type, ready-to-ship inventory, and educational content for first-time growers.
We designed and developed the experience end to end: a fresh green brand identity, deep product taxonomy across herbs and vegetables, plus garden resources, DIY project guides, rewards, and retailer finder flows that support both online orders and in-store discovery.
The brief
Bonnie Plants needed more than a generic plant catalogue. Gardeners shop by crop, growing zone, and season — and buying live plants online requires confidence in plant health, shipping timing, and care instructions before they add to cart.
The catalogue spans hundreds of varieties across herbs, vegetables, and specialty collections, with content hubs for new gardeners, container gardening, and edible landscaping. The site had to inspire first-time growers while still serving experienced gardeners restocking every spring.
What we delivered
A custom Shopify storefront with a garden-fresh palette, photography-led product cards, and collection architecture that mirrors how gardeners actually shop — herbs and vegetables first, then ready-to-ship picks and seasonal highlights.
